Privacy policy

TWN Consulting attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi « Informatique et Libertés »).

1. Data controller
TWN CONSULTING (EURL), 8 Villa Frédéric Bazille, 77186 Noisiel, represented by its managing director David Théophile. For any question regarding your data: contact@twnconsulting.fr.
2. Data collected
We collect only the data required for the services you request:
- Callback request: name and telephone number.
- Partner form: name of your organisation, type of organisation, envisaged collaboration model, professional email address, description of your requirement.
- Expert Pro beta-test application: first name, professional email address and role or profession.
- Client area and Wi-Fi monitoring: professional email address, technical device identifier, device name, assigned company and site, radio measurements (including SSID, BSSID, channel, quality and signal level), network-test results, local IP address, gateway and DNS server, Windows connection events, agent status and technical resources, monitoring commands and incidents.
Monitoring does not collect file contents, messages or browsing history. Your public IP address may appear in technical connection logs retained by our host for security purposes.
Plausible measures audience without cookies. Google Analytics 4 loads only if you agree to audience measurement; it may then use cookies and technical identifiers. Form entries are not included in audience-measurement events.
3. Purposes
- To process your request and get back to you.
- To review your Expert Pro beta-test application and contact you about it.
- Where applicable, to qualify your requirement and act upon it, including by entrusting its fulfilment to one of our certified partner integrators (see §5).
- To provide the subscribed Wi-Fi monitoring service, display the status of authorised devices, diagnose incidents, produce the agreed reports and secure access.
4. Legal basis
Forms and optional audience measurement are based on your consent. Processing enquiries is also based on TWN Consulting's legitimate interest in responding to you. Wi-Fi monitoring is based on performance of the contract with the client and, for service security, on our legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing.
5. Recipients of the data
Your data is intended for the teams at TWN Consulting. In the course of our business, your request may be passed on to a certified partner integrator in order to act upon it; such disclosure is limited to the information strictly necessary to process your request. We also use technical sub-processors (OVH hosting, email routing). Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
Appointment booking (Calendly). Booking buttons open the Calendly tool, only when you click. The information you enter there (name, email, time slot, message) is processed by Calendly LLC to organise the meeting, then passed on to us.
Videos (YouTube). Demo videos are only loaded when you click, through Google’s youtube-nocookie.com domain.
Fonts. They are hosted on our own server: displaying the pages sends no data to Google Fonts or any other font provider.
Monitoring data is accessible only to authorised TWN Consulting personnel and to the named accounts designated by the client, within the scope of the devices assigned to them. When TWN Consulting processes this data on behalf of a client, responsibilities, instructions, security measures and return or deletion arrangements are set out in the contract and, where required, in a data-processing agreement compliant with Article 28 GDPR.
6. Retention periods
- Prospects with no follow-up: 3 years from the last contact.
- Clients: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then in accordance with legal obligations (in particular accounting and tax obligations).
- Wi-Fi monitoring: raw samples, events, commands and the agent's latest state for 30 days; daily summaries for 90 days; settings, accounts and incidents for as long as needed to provide the service and meet contractual follow-up requirements.
- Technical logs: up to 12 months.
7. Transfers outside the European Union
Website forms are hosted by OVH in France. If you accept Google Analytics, audience data may be processed by Google outside the European Union. Calendly (appointment booking) and YouTube (videos played at your request) are operated by US companies; these transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR (EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure: HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, named accounts, per-device access control and limited retention periods.
9. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@twnconsulting.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) (cnil.fr).
10. Cookies
Plausible works without cookies. Google Analytics 4 is activated only with your agreement. You can decline or withdraw it at any time via “Analytics choices” in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage), without a cookie.
The client area uses a strictly necessary session cookie (TWNSESSID), set only if you log in and deleted when you close your browser.
